A Double In Dublin

Irish Emigration Museum voted Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction for second year running.

EPIC: The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin has been named Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the annual World Travel Awards for the second year in succession. It is the first time any attraction has achieved this consecutive double. The awards are based upon votes submitted by tourism consumers, industry professionals and representatives of the international media.

On hearing the news, museum founder Neville Isdell said of the award: “It recognizes and celebrates the significant global impact of the Irish diaspora. This win is not just about the content of the Museum, bringing history together with modernity, but the people behind it”
